Coach Stan Owens

Stan began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey later in life, in December 2021, and quickly discovered a passion for the art and its intricate techniques. His dedication and commitment to training led him to earn his purple belt, demonstrating his understanding of the principles of BJJ. His core belief is that the largest “room” in someone’s life is “room for improvement”.


In 2024, Stan transitioned into coaching, bringing a strong desire to share his knowledge with others. He focuses on creating a positive and supportive environment for the students, emphasizing the importance of technique, strategy, and personal growth on the mats. Stan's friendly coaching approach promotes skill development for students of all levels, while also encouraging a strong team spirit within the academy.


Stan believes that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is not just about competition but also about building confidence, discipline, and resilience. He is dedicated to helping the students achieve their goals, whether they aim to compete or simply improve their fitness and self-defense capabilities. With his experience and passion for the sport, Stan is excited to guide the next generation of BJJ students on their journey.
